Single Vision Lenses 

Single Vision lenses are for correction for one field of vision.

These are the most commonly prescribed lens type and are used to correct short-sightedness and long-sightedness.

They have the same power over the whole lens, meaning they will allow you to see either near vision (Reading), distance (TV & driving) and intermediate (Computer).
